About DiPilla Aesthetics
Chelsea is a licensed aesthetician in three states with over 15 years of clinical experience. She holds an instructor license in Aesthetics and has worked extensively in medical dermatology offices, earning recognition in Philly Mag as one of the city's most sought-after aestheticians. Her philosophy centers on combining science with nature to deliver results-driven, ethical, and inclusive care for all skin types.
We believe in personalized care grounded in science, integrity, and results. We don't recommend products we merely hope will work—we partner with brands like Alastin that prove efficacy through rigorous testing. We respect your budget and build sustainable solutions. We use cutting-edge technology like UltraClear. And we're committed to ethical practices: nothing we recommend or use has been tested on animals.
Absolutely. DiPilla Aesthetics specializes in customized treatments for all skin types. We understand that hyperpigmentation, rosacea, sun damage, and other concerns present differently across skin tones, and our approach reflects that. Every treatment is tailored to your specific skin type and goals.
Getting Started
Your consultation includes three key components: a thorough analysis of your skin (texture, tone, sensitivity, concerns, and history), an open discussion of your goals and what you truly want to achieve, and a comprehensive good faith exam by a qualified professional through our partner Qualify. By the end, you'll have clarity about your skin, your goals, and a customized treatment plan built around your values and budget.
Your initial consultation typically takes 45-60 minutes to ensure we thoroughly understand your skin and goals.
There is a consultation fee of $50, which is applied to your first treatment or products purchased
The Qualify good faith exam is a required 15-minute professional assessment conducted by a qualified third-party professional. It ensures you're a safe candidate for your desired treatments and protects both you and us by grounding everything in clinical integrity. You only need one exam per year, and it covers all treatments you complete with DiPilla Aesthetics during that 12-month period.
During your consultation, Chelsea will assess your skin, listen to your goals, and recommend treatments based on what will actually work for you. We believe in combination therapy and customized approaches—there's no one-size-fits-all solution. Your treatment plan is built specifically for your skin and your objectives.
Come with clean skin. Avoid heavy makeup, sunscreen, or products immediately before your appointment so Chelsea can properly assess your skin. If you're having a laser or exfoliation treatment, avoid sun exposure for several days prior. We'll provide specific prep instructions based on your treatment.
Please contact us directly to discuss any current packages, membership options, or special offerings we may have. We want to ensure that you are investing in the correct offering to optimize your goals.
Treatments & Results
Advanced exfoliation is a customized chemical peel with minimal downtime, designed for ongoing maintenance and progression of your skin goals. It includes extractions and is ideal for regular treatments every 4-6 weeks to maintain and improve your results over time.
Accelerated exfoliation is an intensive chemical peel customized to your specific concerns. Expect 5-7 days of downtime as your skin undergoes significant renewal. Extractions are included. Planning is recommended, and a one-week follow-up appointment is included to assess healing and ensure you're achieving your targeted outcome.
UltraClear is a first-of-its-kind, FDA-cleared cold ablative fiber laser that delivers precise, controlled energy with minimal thermal damage. It safely treats all skin types and can address fine lines, wrinkles, scars (including acne scars), pigmentation, enlarged pores, and induce collagen remodeling. UltraClear offers multiple treatment modes with varying intensities and downtime.
This depends on the treatment, your skin type, and your commitment to sun protection and skincare. Some treatments provide immediate results that continue improving over weeks and months. Others require maintenance treatments. We'll discuss realistic timelines and expectations during your consultation and follow-up appointments.
This depends on your goals and the treatment. Advanced exfoliation is typically done every 4-6 weeks for maintenance. Accelerated exfoliation might be spaced further apart. Laser treatments have different frequencies based on your skin and concerns. We'll create a customized schedule during your consultation.
Skin Care & Products
Yes. We often recommend combination therapy—for example, pairing laser treatments with customized exfoliation and targeted skincare. Your treatment plan will outline any recommended combinations based on your goals.
Alastin Skincare is developed with proven science and tested through histological analysis to confirm actual cellular changes. Every ingredient and formulation is backed by real evidence. Additionally, no Alastin products have been tested on animals—which aligns with Chelsea's unwavering commitment to ethical practices.
No. Chelsea doesn't believe in throwing out skincare you've already invested in unless it's actively hurting your skin. We'll work with you to strategically integrate the right products into your existing routine. We respect your budget and build sustainable solutions that make sense for you.
We get it. DiPilla Aesthetics works with you to find balance in your treatment plan. We can prioritize where investment matters most, integrate products thoughtfully, and build toward your results in a way that feels comfortable and sustainable for you. Your well-being comes first, not the price tag.
Yes. SPF is the #1 anti-aging product on the market. It's not optional. Consistent sun protection prevents damage, prevents hyperpigmentation, and prevents accelerated aging. You can enjoy outdoor life and coastal living—just wear your SPF and reapply every two hours.
Downtime & Recovery
Downtime varies by treatment. Advanced exfoliation has minimal downtime. Accelerated exfoliation involves 5-7 days of downtime. UltraClear treatments vary from minimal to moderate downtime depending on the mode used. We'll discuss realistic expectations for your specific treatment during your consultation.
This depends on your treatment. We'll provide detailed post-care instructions for every procedure. Generally, you may experience some redness, peeling, or mild discomfort. We'll guide you through each phase to ensure optimal healing and results.
Yes. Follow-up appointments are included with most intensive treatments (like Accelerated Exfoliation or UltraClear Ultimate Rejuvenation) and are essential to assess your healing, ensure you're achieving your goals, and optimize your ongoing care. We schedule these strategically—typically one week or four weeks after your treatment depending on what you're having done.
This depends on your specific treatment and recovery stage. We'll provide detailed post-care instructions, including when it's safe to resume makeup. Generally, we recommend avoiding makeup for at least 24-48 hours after intensive treatments to allow your skin to heal properly.
Skin Concerns
Absolutely. Acne isn't just a teenage concern—it can emerge at any age due to hormones, stress, genetics, and lifestyle factors. Our approach combines medical intervention with holistic strategies tailored to your unique situation. We can help you achieve clarity at any stage of life.
Yes. We use advanced tools like laser treatments and customized exfoliation to stimulate collagen remodeling and skin regeneration. By harnessing your skin's natural ability to rebuild and repair, we can smooth texture and diminish the appearance of acne scars. Results are gradual but meaningful.
Yes, but melasma requires a distinct, sophisticated approach because it's deeper, more stubborn, and more prone to recurrence than standard hyperpigmentation. We combine preventative strategies, targeted skincare, laser technologies, and long-term management. Progress is often gradual, and consistency is essential, but meaningful improvement is possible.
In some cases, yes. We can work together to correct existing sun damage and restore your skin to a more even, revitalized state through laser treatments, customized exfoliation, and consistent skincare. You don't have to put your life on hold—we build a treatment plan that fits into your routine while we systematically restore your skin.
We do encourage that everyone get yearly skin exams by a board-certified Dermatologist. If you've had a history of skin cancer, please disclose this to DiPilla Aesthetics. It does not mean you can't be treated, but it is an important piece of information for your treatment plan.
Rosacea is challenging, but relief is possible. Laser treatments target the dilated blood vessels and inflammation beneath the skin's surface, reducing both redness and the underlying vascular component. Combined with customized skincare, we can achieve meaningful improvement in persistent redness.
